Wake up in the mornings next to the Paria River, and watch as the sun creeps over the canyon walls. Then drift naturally into a time of solitude or guided reflection. Hike with your trail mates between the canyon walls, past stunning rock formations, within reach of riparian vegetation, and around river bends. Share common meals carefully crafted for the trail. In the evenings share stories and insights from your day in the backcountry, before stretching out for a much needed sleep under shooting stars.
This experience combines the healthy exertion of backpacking with a pace that holds space for rest, reflection and solitude along the way. Each day will be full of challenges and delights as we follow the Paria River, explore side meanders, drink from natural desert springs, and watch the canyon gradually open up before us.
